ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
1. INSPECT A/C EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR
(a) Remove the A/C evaporator temperature sensor (A/ C thermistor).
(b) Disconnect the connector from the A/C evaporator temperature sensor (A/C thermistor).
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
NOTICE:
HINT: As the temperature increases, the resistance decreases (see the graph).
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the A/C evaporator temperature sensor (A/C thermistor).
Inspection
1. INSPECT CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance
between the terminals.
Standard resistance
NOTICE:
"Cold" and "Hot" mean the temperature of the
coils themselves.
"Cold" is from -10C (14F) to 50C (122F ...
Reassembly
1. INSTALL OIL PUMP COVER
(a) Coat the drive and driven rotors with engine oil and
place them into the timing chain cover with the
marks facing outward (oil pump cover side). Check
that the rotors rotate smoothly.
(b) Install the oil pump cover with the 8 bolts.
Torque: 9.1 N*m (93 kgf ...
Installation
1. INSTALL STABILIZER BAR FRONT
2. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSH NO.1
(a) Install the front stabilizer bar bush No. 1.
HINT:
Install the bushing to the outer side of the bushing
stopper on the stabilizer bar as shown in the
illustration.
